Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the On Pace Bowling mobile application (the “App”) provided by Bison Lab, LLC (“Bison Lab,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

The App

On Pace Bowling helps bowlers record games, view personal stats and trends, and optionally connect with other bowlers. Features may change over time as we improve the product. Some capabilities may be limited by device permissions you grant (camera, photos, location).

Eligibility and accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your region) to use the App.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You may delete your account in the App at Me → Account → Delete account, or by contacting support@bisonlab.ai.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, defame, or impersonate others, or post content that is illegal, hateful, or sexually explicit.
• Use the App to spam, scrape, reverse engineer, or disrupt our services or other users.
• Upload scoresheet photos or other content you do not have the right to share.
• Circumvent follow/visibility rules or attempt to access another user’s private data.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to others or to the App.

User content

You retain ownership of content you submit (including profile details, game data, and scoresheet photos). You grant Bison Lab a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, display, and transmit that content solely to operate and improve the App and to show it to other users as the product’s visibility rules allow (for example, followers).

You are responsible for the content you share. We may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

Social features

Following another bowler is one-directional and may allow you to view their stats and photos according to App rules. Discovery may allow others to find your profile by display name or first/last name. Report abusive behavior via the App or support@bisonlab.ai.

Third-party services

The App relies on third-party infrastructure (for example, authentication, hosting, feature flags, crash reporting, and nearby-place lookup). Your use of the App is also subject to those providers’ applicable terms where they apply to you directly.

Intellectual property

The App, including its design, trademarks, and software (excluding your content), is owned by Bison Lab or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any right to copy, modify, or redistribute the App except as needed for normal use on your devices.

Disclaimers

The App is provided “as is” and “as available.” Scoring aids, photo capture, stats, and coaching signals are tools to help you track your bowling; they may contain errors and are not a substitute for official league scoring systems. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bison Lab disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bison Lab and its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the App. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the App will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us for the App in the twelve months before the claim or (b) fifty U.S. dollars (US$50). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Bison Lab harmless from claims arising out of your content, your misuse of the App, or your violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
